Coos County has many wonderful sites within its 1600 square miles of land and 63,000 people. With over a 100 miles of coast, the views are great. From the sand dunes to lighthouses and Shoreacres park, Coos County has your heart. The county seat is Coquille, a town of about 4000 people 22 miles from the ocean. Coos Bay, North Bend and Charleston share boundaries and make the Bay Area the highest population density in the county. Bandon and "Old Town" is a travelers delight.
